Dr. J. Michael McQuade was named senior vice president, science and technology for UTC in September 2006. His responsibilities include overseeing UTC Power and UTC's Research Center and providing strategic oversight and guidance for research and development activities throughout the corporation.
McQuade has held senior research and development and general management positions with technology development oversight at 3M and Eastman Kodak. Beginning in 2002, he was vice president of 3M's Medical Division. Previously, he was president of Eastman Kodak's Health Imaging business, including responsibility for its research laboratories. Prior to 1998, McQuade held several positions at Imation Corp. both before and after its spinoff from 3M in 1996.
McQuade holds a doctorate, master of science and bachelor of science degrees in physics from Carnegie Mellon University.

Joe Triompo is Vice President & General Manager of UTC Power, with overall responsibility for company operations and development and innovation of new fuel cell technology. Joe has led UTC Power through an operational transformation, resulting in the production and delivery of best-in-class fuel cell systems for stationary power and transportation to new and existing customers.
Triompo joined UTC in 1979 and has more than 30 years of experience in general management, engineering and program management while serving in key roles at Hamilton Sundstrand. He was most recently President, Aerospace Power Systems, responsible for aircraft electric and air management systems in addition to Page Aerospace Limited and Nord-Micro.
He serves on the board of the University of Connecticut School of Engineering and is a Corporator for Saint Francis Hospital in Hartford, Connecticut.
Triompo has a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering and computer science from the University of Connecticut and has an MS from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology Sloan Fellows program.

Jennifer Adamy leads UTC Power’s legal department, with responsibility for managing the general legal function, including contracts, export controls and compliance, as well as the intellectual property group.
Jennifer joined UTC Power in October 2011 from Carrier Corporation, where she held positions of increasing responsibility in the legal function since 2006. During her tenure at Carrier, Jennifer supported global supply chain operations, including contracts, purchasing, supply chain security and U.S. Customs compliance and also provided general legal support to Carrier’s North American Commercial Operations.
Prior to joining Carrier, Jennifer practiced law for more than 12 years in Connecticut and New York in the areas of commercial litigation and bankruptcy. She earned her bachelor’s degree from the State University of New York at Binghamton and her JD from HofstraUniversity, where she served as a managing editor of the HofstraProperty Law Journal.

Katrina Fritz Intwala is Manager, Business Development & Public Relations, at UTC Power, responsible for leading the company’s business and product strategy, as well as marketing and public affairs. She also represents UTC Power’s interests in policy and regulatory affairs that impact fuel cells and the clean energy sector.
Katrina joined UTC Power in September 2010 after five years with Plug Power, where she was Vice President of Business Development and Government Relations. Before her tenure at Plug Power, Katrina served as Director of Operations for the Wright Fuel Cell Group at Case Western Reserve University. Prior to Case, Katrina held positions in marketing and organizational development for SCO UNIX, a software company in Santa Cruz, California and Watford, United Kingdom.
She is Chair of the Industry Advisory Panel to the California Stationary Fuel Cell Collaborative and Vice-Chair of the Alliance for Clean Energy New York Board of Directors. Katrina also serves on the Board of Directors of the Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Energy Association and the Connecticut Fuel Cell and Hydrogen Coalition. She is a past Board member of the Ohio Fuel Cell Coalition.
Katrina received a bachelor's degree in Spanish from the University of Michigan and an MBA from Case Western Reserve University.

Arianna Kalian is vice president, engineering and operations, at UTC Power. She is responsible for overseeing all engineering activity, including technology and product development, as well as all operations activities for the company’s stationary and transportation fuel cell systems, including supply chain, materials management, manufacturing and facilities.
Kalian joined UTC Power in 2008 from General Motors (GM), where she led a range of high-level product design and development efforts. During her 19-year tenure at GM, Kalian headed up a cross-functional team in the design, development, production and marketing of the 2006 Buick Lucerne and Cadillac DTS models. She also served as director, continuous improvement engineering, leading the development and implementation of quality improvement and material cost-reduction processes for North American operations.
She held both product and manufacturing engineering positions on GM's Electric Vehicle program, and at Opel in Germany.
Kalian holds a bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from The Cooper Union for the Advancement of Art and Science, as well as a master’s degree in mechanical engineering from Columbia University and a master of science in engineering science (management of technology) from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. A registered Professional Engineer, she holds two patents in the application of aluminum technologies.

Dana Kaplinski leads UTC Power's Transportation business and is responsible for managing the company's advanced product programs.
Kaplinski joined UTC Power in 2007 as a senior product manager after a distinguished career in the automotive sector. Prior to UTC Power, she served as assistant chief engineer for General Motors Powertrain Group, where she managed engineering development of GM's rear-wheel-drive hybrid system for sport utility vehicles. She also was engineering group manager responsible for GM engine and transmission control modules. Kaplinski previously served as manager, powertrain control systems, at Saturn Corporation.
Kaplinski earned bachelor's and master's degrees in mechanical engineering from Cornell University and an MBA from Michigan State University's Executive MBA Program.

Mike Machinchick is Manager, Aftermarket Services, responsible for stationary fuel cell system startup and service, as well as UTC Power’s state-of-the art remote monitoring and control center. Under Mike’s leadership, the PureCell®system Model 400 fleet has achieved an average availability level of greater than 96 percent – an industry best.
Mike joined UTC Power in 2007 after 19 years with Pratt & Whitney, where he held roles of increasing responsibility in the company’s military engines business. He most recently served as Production Program Manager, F135 Programs, where he was responsible for all aspects of transitioning the Joint Strike Fighter jet engine into production, including on-time product delivery, product cost and quality.
Mike earned a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from Boston University.

Rick Milbourn is the director of finance for UTC Power, with responsibility for managing the finance and information technology organizations. He joined UTC Power in March of 2008 as the director of financial planning after four years in the United Technologies Corp. (UTC) Investor Relations department.
He began his career at Sundstrand Corporation, where he had 15 years of experience in various financial positions. Following the merger of Hamilton Standard and Sundstrand in 1999, he became manager of financial planning and analysis for the industrial businesses of Hamilton Sundstrand. He moved to aftermarket finance in 2000, supporting UTC-wide efforts to create an aftermarket joint venture with KLM airlines, and in 2001 was named the controller for Hamilton Sundstrand's Aftermarket organization. In 2002, he joined UTC's corporate communications department, supporting the CEO as director of executive presentations.
Milbourn earned a bachelor's degree with a double major in accounting and business administration from Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, and holds an MBA from Rockford College in Rockford, Illinois.

Neal Montany is director of the stationary fuel cell business at UTC Power, overseeing the PureCell® Model 400 and Model 5 system programs, sales, marketing, applications, installation and aftermarket services.
Montany joined UTC Power in 2007 from Pratt &Whitney, where he led the Geared TurboFanTM (GTF) engine demonstrator program. Prior to joining the GTF team, Montany led the Operations, Quality and Spare Parts organizations for International Aero Engines, a multi-national consortium based in East Hartford, whose partners include Pratt &Whitney, Rolls-Royce, Japanese Aero Engines Corp., and MTU Aero Engines. In more than 20 years at Pratt &Whitney, Montany's assignments included test engineer, model manager and program manager for the PW4000 engine.
He holds a bachelor's degree in mechanical and materials engineering from the University of Connecticut and an MBA from Boston University.

Richard Shaw is General Manager, Eastern Region Sales, responsible for UTC Power’s stationary fuel cell sales in New England and other areas of the Eastern United States. He is a licensed engineer with more than fifteen years of experience in the power generation industry.
Richard joined UTC Power in 2010 after nine years with FuelCellEnergy. During his tenure at FuelCellEnergy, he held several positions of increasing responsibility, including Director of Applications Engineering. He most recently served as Director of Business Development, leading teams that launched fuel cell power plant technology into worldwide markets.
Prior to joining FuelCellEnergy, Richard was a Senior Project Engineer for DukeSolutions, where he managed technical and financial analysis of power generation and energy efficiency projects. Prior to DukeSolutions, Richard held positions in operations and project management at TrigenEnergy Corporation.
He earned bachelor’s and master’s degrees in mechanical engineering from Manhattan College.

Mari Simmons-Sifo is manager, human resources, at UTC Power, overseeing all human resources activities, including employee relations, executive coaching, training, compensation and benefits.
Simmons-Sifo began her career with United Technologies Corp. (UTC) in 2008 at UTC Fire & Security and has held positions of increasing responsibility in human resources. Prior to joining UTC, she served as a human resources representative at Owens Corning, supporting employee and labor relations in the United States and United Kingdom.
Simmons-Sifo earned a bachelor’s degree and an MBA in business management from Florida A&M University.

Eric Strayer is General Manager, International Sales, responsible for leading UTC Power’s sales efforts in the growing renewable power market in Korea and development of strategic partnerships in Asia. In addition, he manages the company’s internal sales operations.
Since joining UTC Power in 2003, Eric has held positions of increasing responsibility in product development, product management and sales. Previously, he served in product development roles at Nissan Motor Corporation and Freudenberg-NOK, and in global supply chain management at BellSouth International.
Eric holds a bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from Michigan State University, an MBA from Georgia Institute of Technology and is a graduate of the leadership development program at Harvard Business School.
