| PureComfort® System — Energy & Cost Savings |
PureComfort® power solutions save energy by being twice as efficient as traditional energy resources, such as grid purchased electricity, electrically driven cooling, and natural gas heating. Saving energy means saving money.
This savings is created by:
- Efficiency and performance of the PureComfort® 195M, 260M, 325M and 390M power solutions,
- Current energy rates (grid electricity and natural gas), and
- Usage profiles of the facility,
all compared against the displaced equipment's efficiency and performance.
For a typical combined cooling, heating and power (CCHP) PureComfort® power solution, the cooling output of the system is used to provide space cooling and the heating output is used to provide either space or water heating. Typical net cost savings can be in the range of approximately $10,000 per month, or in the range of $200,000 annually. Initial capital costs can sometimes be offset by federal or state incentives for clean or alternate power generation.
