Kenneth P. Fox
Vice President, On-site Power Solutions


Ken Fox is vice president, on-site power solutions at UTC Power. He is responsible for all aspects of the company’s stationary power businesses.

Fox joined UTC Power in 2007 after 17 years with Carrier Corporation, a United Technologies Corporation (UTC) sister division. At Carrier, Fox led the profitable growth of the residential and commercial controls business from a small break-even entity to one of Carrier’s highest growth and most profitable businesses. Fox led the acquisition of Automated Logic Corporation in 2004, further growing Carrier’s presence is the building automation sector. In his most recent assignment at Carrier, he was responsible for the North American commercial business, which included sales, service, national accounts, Automated Logic and Carrier Electronics.

Prior to joining UTC, Fox was vice president at Bank of America’s Investment Banking Group, specializing in alternative energy project funding. Previously he served as group manager at Exxon Corporation where he was responsible for project management of petro-chemical facilities.

Fox earned a bachelor of science degree in civil engineering from Northeastern University and a master of science degree in management from the Sloan School of Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (M.I.T.).

United Technologies Corp., based in Hartford, Conn., provides high-technology products and services to the building and aerospace industries. Its UTC Power unit, based in South Windsor, Conn., is a full-service provider of environmentally advanced power solutions. With nearly 50 years of experience, UTC Power is a world leader in developing and producing fuel cells for on-site power, transportation, space and defense applications, and a developer of innovative combined cooling, heating and power applications for the distributed energy market.
