The fuel cell system is aboard an Alameda-Contra Costa Transit District (AC Transit) bus operating in the Greater Oakland, California, area.”

President Barack Obama’s principal economic adviser Thursday visited the fuel cell-making subsidiary of United Technologies Corp. to reiterate the administration’s belief that renewable energy will help lead the country into prosperity. Nancy Sutley, chairwoman of the White House Council on Environmental Quality, told about 100 UTC Power employees that they were at the forefront of an effort “to create jobs for the future.
